    Pork w/Apples and Onions

    6 (6 oz.) center cup pork chops
    1 teaspoons pepper
    Cooking spray
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    2 large onions, cut into 8 wedges
    2/3 cups dry white wine
    4 granny smith apples, peeled and cut into 6 wedges
    1 tablespoons lemon juice
    Chopped parsley

    Recipe



    Sprinkle both sides of chops with salt and pepper. Place in a dutch oven coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat until hot. Cook 4 minutes on each side or until lightly browned. Remove chops from pan. Repeat procedure until all chops are done. Remove chops and set aside. Heat oil in same pan. Add onions and cook 8 minutes. Add wine and cook 1 minute. Return chops to pan, reduce heat, cover and cook 15 minutes. Add apples to pan and cook an additional 25 minutes. Remove chops from pan and keep warm. Increase heat, bring apple mixture to a boil, and cook 10 minutes. Stir in lemon juice. Serve chops with apple mixture. Sprinkle with parsley.

    Serves 6
