    Sage Chops ‘n Sweet Potatoes

    Marinade
    1-1/2 cups Newman’s Own Family Recipe
    1-1/2 Tbsp. sage
    1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt

    4 pork rib or loin chops, cut 1” thick (2 lb.)
    2 large sweet potatoes, sliced lengthwise into 1/4” slices

    Place a large zipper seal plastic bag into a large, shallow dish. Into the bag, add dressing, sage, pepper and salt. Seal bag. Massage gently to combine ingredients. Pour 2/3 c. marinade into a small container. Cover and refrigerate.

    Add pork to bag and seal. Marinate in the refrigerator, turning occasionally, at least 4 hours or overnight. Remove pork, discarding the marinade.

    Grill or broil until chops are slightly pink in the center and juices run clear, about 15 minutes, turning once halfway through the cook time.

    Meanwhile, put potatoes into a new large zipper lock plastic bag. Pour in reserved marinade. Shake gently to completely coat. Grill or broil over medium heat until tender, about 7 to 9 minutes, turning halfway through cook time. Brush once with its own marinade after turning.
    Serve pork with potatoes.

    Makes 4 servings.
