    1 small carrot, shredded
    (1/4 c.)
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. minced, dried onion
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/2 lb. ground raw turkey

    In a microwave safe mixing bowl, stir together shredded
    carrot, water and minced onion. Cover with microwave safe
    clear plastic wrap. Vent by leaving a small area unsealed at
    the edge of the bowl. Cook on High about 1 1/2 minutes or
    until the shredded carrot is tender. Drain.

    Stir beaten egg, bread crumbs, salt and pepper and
    poultry seasoning into carrot mixture. Add ground raw turkey;
    mix well. Shape the meat mixture into 1/2-inch thick patties;
    mixture will be soft. Place patties in a microwave safe
    shallow baking dish. Cover with microwave safe plastic wrap.
    Vent by leaving a small area unsealed at the edge of dish.
    Cook on High for 5 to 6 minutes or until no longer pink,
    rotating dish half a turn every 2 minutes.
