    Back to my Texas roots with a Jello salad. This one is yummy. Cook time is chill time
    SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

    Change to: Servings US Metric

    Ingredients
    6 ounces cherry Jell-O
    3 1/2 cups water
    1/2 cup red cinnamon candies
    3 cups grated peeled apples
    1/2-3/4 cup chopped pecans
    Directions
    1Dissolve candy in water over medium high heat, stirring often.
    2Remove from heat; add jello and stir until dissolved.
    3Stir in pecans and apples when cooled.
    4Pour into serving dish.
    5Refrigerate until jello is firm and you are ready to serve the salad.
