BOW TIES AND GREEN BEAN SALAD

("White Tie" Beans)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. small bow ties, cooked al dente, drained
1 lb. whole green beans, cooked and drained
1 1/4 c. chickpeas, drained
1 pkg. Italian style salad dressing mix
1/4 c. vinegar
2/3 c. salad oil
1 large carrot, shredded
paprika to garnish
Recipe
Combine bow ties, green beans, chickpeas, salad dressing mix, vinegar, salad oil and carrot, tossing to mix well. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover bowl and refrigerate at least 1 day before serving. Serves 8 to 10. Variation: Hearts of palm, sliced 1/4-inch thick, can be scattered on top before serving.
