Indian Cucumber Salad from David

2 Medium Cucumbers, sliced thin
4 Tablespoons Shallots, chopped
1 1/2 Teaspoons Hot pepper flakes
3 Tablespoons Sugar to taste
2 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
4 Tablespoons Hot water



Recipe



In a serving bowl, toss together the cucumber slices, shallot and red
pepper. In a small bowl, mix the sugar, salt, vinegar and hot water
until sugar dissolves. Pour over cucumbers. Serve immediately.
