List of Ingredients
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
4 eggs (beaten)
2 cups canned or fresh, cooked pumpkin
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cup walnuts
1 1/2 cups raisins (optional)Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour 3 loaf pans.
Combine eggs, oil, pumpkin and water.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Make a well in center and add pumpkin mixture.
Blend until dry ingredients are moistened.
Add walnuts and raisins.
Pour into pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
This improves with age and freezes well.
