Hershey's Kisses Peanut Blossoms

List of Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
2 Tbs. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (10 oz. ) bag of Hershey KissesRecipe
Beat shortening and peanut butter until well blended.
Add sugars and beat until light and fluffy.
Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well.
Stir together flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
Gradually add flour mixture to peanut mixture.
Shape into 1" balls.
Roll in granulated sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes
or until lightly browned.
Immediately place one Hershey kiss in the middle (top)
of each cookie, pressing down slightly.
Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Makes 4 dozen.
