    Sour Cream Christmas Cookies

    1/2 cup butter
    1 1/4 cup sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    4 tsps. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 pint sour cream
    5 cups flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. anise oil
    Cookie cutters

    Recipe



    Cream butter and sugar until light.
    Add eggs and sour cream and mix well.
    Add dry ingredients and anise oil.
    Chill about 1 1/2 hours.
    Roll dough to about 1/8 inch thick.

    Cut into desired shapes and place on cookie sheets.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
