Easy Oven Beef Stew

1/4 cup flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 lbs. beef cubes (chuck)
2 Tb. vegetable oil
4 small onions, quartered
4 small carrots, cut in 1" pieces
4 small potatoes, cut up
1 cup celery
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce with mushroomsRecipe
Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika in bag.
Drop in beef, a portion at a time, and shake until coated.
Mix with oil in 3 qt. casserole.
Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
Stir once.
Add vegetables, water and tomato sauce.
Mix well.
Cover and reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 1 3/4 hours.
Serves 6.
