    1 pound ground beef
    1 t. salt
    Pepper
    1/4 cup water
    2 cups fine dry bread crumbs
    2 T. minced onion
    1 T. melted butter
    1/2 t. poultry seasoning
    1/2 t. salt
    Pepper
    Hot water

    Combine meat, 1 t. salt, pepper and 1/4 cup water; mix thoroughly. Divide meat mixture into 6 portions and place on waxed paper. Press the portions into 5 x 5" squares. You can do this by placing another strip of wax paper over the meat, and rolling it out. Combine the bread crumbs, onion, melted butter, seasonings and enough hot water to moisten. Put a spoonful of the stuffing in each meat square and roll up. Put beef roll ups in a greased baking dish and bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Serve with vegetable sauce.

    Vegetable Sauce:

    2 cups canned tomatoes
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    1/2 cup chopped celery
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Combine all ingredients in a pan. Heat to boiling. Simmer for 30 minutes. Serve hot over Meat Roll Ups.
