    Pumpkin Pie

    List of Ingredients




    2 eggs
    14 oz. canned E.D. Smith Pure Pumpkin
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 cup evaporated milk
    1 unbaked 9" homemade or frozen* deep dish pie shell

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

    In a medium bowl, beat eggs.

    Add pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and salt; stir until well combined.

    Blend in milk.

    Pour filling into pie shell.

    Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.

    Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking for 30-35 minutes longer or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.

    Cool.

    Makes 1 pie. Serves 6

    *If using frozen crust, prepare as directed on package.
