Tomato Salsa

This recipie orginally came from recipiezarr.com, but I have modified it to taste a little better.
List of Ingredients
- 28 oz. can whole tomatoes--drained
- 3 jalapeno peppers
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves (small handful of dried)
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves (small handful of dried)
- Juice of 2 limes
- 2 teaspoons celtic sea salt
- 1 Tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 Tablespoon chili powder
- 1 whole pepper (red, green, or yellow), seeded
- 1 (6 oz.) tomato paste (optional)
Instructions
- Place tomatoes in food processor and chop into small pieces. Place into a bowl.
- Place jalapenos, garlic, onion, cilantro, basil, lime juice, salt, cumin, and chili powder in food processor and chop until very fine. Put in bowl with tomatoes.
- Place pepper in the processor and chop fine. Put into tomato mixture.
- Mix in one can of tomato paste (omit this if you like a thinner salsa).
- Allow to sit for a couple of hours to allow the flavors to develop.
