    Pie Crust Snack

When my grandmother (and mother) made pie crust, there were always leftover pieces of dough. This is what they would do to use up the leftovers. It is so yummy that I have made up pie crust dough just to make this awesome snack.

    List of Ingredients

Leftover dough from making a pie crust or

    Purchased frozen pie crusts

    Cinnamon

    Sugar

    Recipe

If using left over dough pieces, roll out to a regular crust thickness and put whatever you have in a pie pan. Sprinkle with LOTS of cinnamon and sugar and bake in the oven until crisp and brown. The timing will depend on how much dough you have left, but it should be approximately 10 -15 minutes... more or less depending on your oven.

If using frozen pie crust, bake according to package directions for the frozen crust. There are a couple of different types and some you will thaw first and add the sugar and cinnamon, other kinds get baked frozen. If using a frozen shell, I would bake for a little bit and then remove the crust from the oven, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and then finish baking the crust.

I always just called this treat "Crust" when I was growing up.
