Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe Introduction


These stay soft. They keep well in an airtight container.





List of Ingredients



• 1 c. butter
  
• 2 eggs
  
• 3&1/2 c. flour
  
• 1 t. salt
  
• 1 t. soda
  
• 2 c. brown sugar
  
• 1/2 c. sour milk
  
• 1&1/2 t. vanilla
  
• 12 oz. chocolate chips
  
• 3/4 c. chopped walnuts (opt.)
  






Instructions



1. Cream butter,sugar,eggs and vanilla. Add milk and dry ingredients alternately , mixing well.
   
   
2. Stir in chips and nuts.
   
   
3. Drop onto lightly greased sheets.
   
   
4. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 min.
   
   
5. ** Sour milk by adding 1 T. vinegar or lemon juice to regular milk.
