- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 2 Tbsp shortening
- 1 can (8oz) tomatoes
- 1/2 c. minced onions
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
Instructions
- Mix flour, salt and pepper. Cut meat into 6 pieces and dip in flour mixture.
- Brown meat, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
- Mix remaining ingredients, pour over meat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender
