    The Original 1950's Chex Mix

    List of Ingredients




    1 pound mixed nuts
    1 small box Cheerios
    1 box rice chex
    1 bag thin pretzel sticks
    3 sticks of margarine
    4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    1 teaspoon garlic salt
    1 teaspoon onion salt
    1 teaspoon celery salt

    Recipe



    Melt margarine add Worcestershire sauce and salts; mix well;
    mix all dry ingredients in a large roast pan , sprinkle margarine mixture over and cover tightly with foil or lid and bake at 225 degrees for 1 hr., uncover, stir and put back in oven for 1 hours. Toss or stir every 15 minutes during last hour.

    Let cool completely and store tightly covered in tins or plastic bags(will stay fresh for 4 weeks tightly closed.
