    Jumbo Stuffed Shells

    List of Ingredients


    • 12 oz. package of jumbo shells
    • 1 1/2 pounds ground sirloin or turkey burger
    • 2 large egg whites
    • 1/4 cup grated parmessan
    • 1/4 cup italian bread crumbs
    • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
    • 1 teaspoon dried basil
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    • salt and pepper
    • 1 8 oz package part skim mozzarella, shredded
    • Tomato Sauce


    Instructions


    1. Preheat over to 350.
    2. Cook pasta shells in boiling water, drain and set aside.
    3. Cook burger in a skillet and drain any excess fat.
    4. Add egg whites, parmesan, bread crumbs, parsley, basil, oregano and salt and pepper. Stuff shells with this filling.
    5. Pour 2 cups of tomato sauce in a 2 quart baking dish.
    6. Place shells in dish and cover with remaining sauce.
    7. Bake for 20 minutes, sprinkle with mozzarella and continue baking for 10 minutes.
