    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1 can evaporated milk
    • juice of one lemon
    • 12 asparagus spears
    • 1 large red pepper
    • 1 lb. penne, bowtie or spiral pasta.
    • Pepper
    • Parmesan


    Instructions


    1. Cook pasta to aldente stage.
    2. chop asparagus and pepper into 1/4 inch slices. Mix together and microwave for three minutes. Immediately rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
    3. Melt butter in saute pan. Add milk and warm over low heat.
    4. In a large serving bowl, pour lemon juice. Add pasta and drained veggies and toss. Add white sauce, pepper and parmesan to taste.
