Pasta with vegetables

- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 can evaporated milk
- juice of one lemon
- 12 asparagus spears
- 1 large red pepper
- 1 lb. penne, bowtie or spiral pasta.
- Pepper
- Parmesan
Instructions
- Cook pasta to aldente stage.
- chop asparagus and pepper into 1/4 inch slices. Mix together and microwave for three minutes. Immediately rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
- Melt butter in saute pan. Add milk and warm over low heat.
- In a large serving bowl, pour lemon juice. Add pasta and drained veggies and toss. Add white sauce, pepper and parmesan to taste.
