    Frozen Cranberry Velvet Pie

    Makes eight servings.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/4 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
    • 6 tbsp butter, melted
    • 8oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup whipping cream
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla
    • 16oz whole cranberry sauce


    Instructions


    1. Combine crumbs and melted butter; press firmly into bottom and sides of buttered 9" pie plate. Chill untill firm.
    2. Beat cream cheese until fluffy.
    3. Combine whipping cream, sugar and vanilla; whip until thickened, but not stiff.
    4. Gradually add to the creamed cheese, beating until smooth and creamy.
    5. Fold cranberry sauce into whipped mixture.
    6. Spoon into chilled crust; freeze until firm.
    7. Remove from freezer 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and whole cranberries.
