List of Ingredients
- 4 medium-thick pork chops
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 large onion
- 2 cans beef consomme soup
- 18 tablespoons raw rice
- 1 green pepper
- Pinch marjoram
- Pinch thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a fairly deep casserole dish.
- Brown pork chops in oil. Place rice in bottom of casserole dish and put pork chops on top of rice.
- Put thick slices of tomato, onion and green pepper on top of each chop. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour consomme over all and sprinkle with a pinch of thyme and marjoram.
- Cover with lid or foil and bake at 350°F for one hour.
