    Sally's Pork Chops and Rice

    This is simple and good.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 medium-thick pork chops
    • 2 tomatoes
    • 1 large onion
    • 2 cans beef consomme soup
    • 18 tablespoons raw rice
    • 1 green pepper
    • Pinch marjoram
    • Pinch thyme


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a fairly deep casserole dish.
    2. Brown pork chops in oil. Place rice in bottom of casserole dish and put pork chops on top of rice.
    3. Put thick slices of tomato, onion and green pepper on top of each chop. Salt and pepper to taste.
    4. Pour consomme over all and sprinkle with a pinch of thyme and marjoram.
    5. Cover with lid or foil and bake at 350°F for one hour.
