    HOLLY'S GRANDMA TOMATO SAUCE

    Source of Recipe

    Holly VanDeusen's Grandma

    Recipe Introduction

Holly said this is good for about one pound of pasta or one pound of lasagna. A little variation to the Morelli recipe, but all Italian food is awesome, minus the fish heheheh

    List of Ingredients

    1 – 6oz Can of Paste
3 Cans of small plain tomato sauce
    1–2 tbsp Garlic powder
    1–2 tbsp Basil
    1–2 tbsp Italian seasoning
    1–2 tbsp Oregano
2-4 tbsp Parmesan cheese ( I use the can of Kraft) – don’t tell Grandma
    1 packet
    Sugar

    Recipe

1.Add can of paste in pot. For every can of paste add two cans of water and mix until no lumps.

2.Add three cans of the sauce and mix well.

3.Add Garlic Powder, all three spices, cheese and sugar.

4.Bring to boil then put down to medium low and cook until desired consistency.

Tip: You can cook meatballs, Italian sausage or ground meat in pan first. Drain meat add put back in to pot then proceed to step one. This will add a delicious flavor. You will adjust cooking time if adding meat. For meat balls cook for about 30 – 35 then check meatballs and make sure not pink. Ground meat will only take 30 mins, since the meat is mostly cooked when browned. The sausage will take longer. Make sure you cook for a good 45 mins since pork takes longer.
