    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb ground beef
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 to 2 T chili powder
    • 6 green onions with tops, sliced
    • 1 can (6 oz) pitted ripe olives, sliced
    • 1 can (16 oz) chili beans, undrained
    • 1 can (16 oz) tomatoes with liquid, chopped
    • 1 package (20 oz) tortilla or corn chips
    • 1 to 2 cups (4 to 8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese


    Instructions


    1. In a skillet, brown meat; drain. Add salt, pepper, chili powder, onions, olives, tomatoes and beans. simmer until thickened, about 20 minutes.
    2. Arrange chips on a platter; top with meat mixture and sprinkle cheese on top. Serve immediately.


    Final Comments


    Yield: 8-10 servings.
