    Fried Ravioli


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (16 oz) pkg frozen cheese ravioli, thawed
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 2 T milk
    • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
    • 2 cups bread crumbs
    • vegetable oil for frying
    • 1 (26 to 28 oz) jar of marinara sauce, heated


    Instructions


    1. Heat oil in deep-fat fryer to 300 degrees.
    2. Beat the eggs with the milk; season with salt and pepper. Dip ravioli into egg mixture and then coat with bread crumbs. Fry about 4 to 6 ravioli at a time. Drain on paper towels.
    3. Serve with warm marinara sauce to dip in.

    Makes about 24 appetizers.
