    This is a lovely cocktail, especially if you love Absolut Kurant. I've made it many times, and for the holidays, it's perfect because of the effect of that creme de cassis settling in the drink . Try it!


    List of Ingredients


    • Ice cubes
    • 2/3 cup currant-flavored vodka
    • 2 teaspoons crème de cassis (black currant-flavored liqueur)
    • 2 lemon twists


    Instructions


    1. Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka; shake to chill thoroughly. Divide vodka between 2 large cocktail (Martini) glasses. Carefully drop 1 teaspoon creme de cassis into each glass (liqueur will sink to bottom). Garnish each Martini with 1 lemon twist.
