    List of Ingredients


    • 1-1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
    • 1/2 cup unbleached flour, sifted
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 3 tablespoons baking powder
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup light cream
    • 1/3 cup melted butter
    • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
    2. Grease a 12 x 16-inch baking pan or large cast iron skillet. Combine cornmeal, flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Add eggs lightly beaten with milk and beat until batter is thoroughly blended. Stir in cream, butter and vanilla extract.
    3. Spread the batter into a baking pan and bake for 20 minutes or until well browned.
    4. Serve warm.
