    A healthy switch from the classical buttermilk biscuits.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups flour (I use whole wheat pastry flour)
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/4 cup oil
    • 3 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup Stonyfield lowfat plain yogurt


    Instructions


    1. Preheat over to 375°F.
    2. In a bowl, sift together dry ingredients.
    3. Add oil and yogurt and mix well.
    4. Place dough on a board and knead until smooth. Roll out to an inch thickness and cut round biscuits using a cookie cutter. Or make round balls about 2-inches in diameter, place on a cookie sheet and flatten.
    5. Place biscuits on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until brown on top. Serve hot.

    Yields: 12 biscuits

    Excellent with real butter and honey!
