    Croissant French Toast with Pecans

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup half-and-half
    • 3 large eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 4 day-old croissants
    • 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
    • 1/2 cup honey
    • 2 T butter
    • 1 T butter


    Instructions


    1. Whisk together half and half, eggs, and vanilla.
    2. Dip croissants, halved, into mixture.
    3. Cook pecans, honey, and 2 T butter in a saucepan until hot. Keep warm.
    4. Melt 1 T butter in a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
    5. Add 4 croissant halves; cook until golden brown. Repeat. Serve with honey mixture.
