    Chocolate Mounds Bars

    List of Ingredients


    • First Layer:
    • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
    • 1/3 cup melted butter
    • Second Layer:
    • 2 2/3 cups flaked coconut
    • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
    • 1 (12 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    2. Mix first layer ingredients together and press into a 9" x 13" x 2" baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes.

    3. Combine the coconut and milk. Spread over baked crust and return to oven to bake another 15 minutes.

    4. Remove from oven and sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Allow chips to "melt" and then spread evenly over all. Cool and cut into bars.

    Yield: 2 dozen bars.
