    Need I say more. Can be glazed with Chocolate Glaze for those real Chocoholics!


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 Ounces high quality Unsweetened Chocolate
    • 1 Stick unsalted Butter
    • 1 1/4 Cups Sugar
    • 1 Teaspoon bourbon Vanilla Extract
    • 3 Eggs -- beaten
    • 3/4 Cup Flour


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8" square pan.

    2. Melt the chocolate with the butter. Set aside to cool for 5 minutes.

    3. Beat the chocolate mixture together with the sugar for 1 - 2 minutes.

    4. Add vanilla and eggs and mix just until combined.

    5. Add flour and beat until just blended (about 1 minute).

    6. Spread the batter evenly into prepared pan.

    7. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes, until a very thin crust forms on top, or a tester comes out clean.
    8. Cool in pan on a rack. Cover when cool and set aside overnight.


    Final Comments


    Chocolate Glaze:

    8 ounces Semisweet Chocolate
    4 tablespoons light Corn Syrup
    4 tablespoons Water
    1 stick unsalted Butter

    Chop the chocolate coarsely.
    Bring the rest of the ingredients to a boil in a heavy saucepan. - Remove from heat immediately, and add the chopped chocolate.
    Mix well, cover and let cool for 5 minutes.
    Place the saucepan in a bowl of ice water and whisk the mixture until it is the consistency of heavy cream.
    Make sure that you do not get ANY water into the chocolate mixture or else it will separate!
