    Oat Bar

    Source of Recipe

    adapted from Stonyfield Farms

    Recipe Introduction

A quick and easy breakfast or afternoon snack. Also delicious made with our Banilla yogurt.

    List of Ingredients

    • 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1 cup Stonyfield Farm lowfat vanilla yogurt
    • 1 banana, mashed
    • 4 cups quick cooking rolled oats
    • 1 cup raisins (I don't eat raisins - so I would use craisins or dates)
    • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
    • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (or any kind of nut you prefer - pecans or almonds)

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350º.
    2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    3. Beat in egg, salt, yogurt and banana.
    4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    5. Turn batter into greased 9x13x2 inch pan.
    6. Bake for 45 minutes.
    7. Cut into 30 bars and store in an airtight container.
