    • 1 1/4 cups Butter flavor Crisco
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 5 eggs
    • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
    • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 2/3 cup milk
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 tsp lemon extract
    • 2 medium bananas, well mashed


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour bundt pan and set aside.

    2. Blend Crisco and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    3. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with milk, vanilla and lemon extract to shortening-sugar mixture. Beat until mixture is smooth.

    4. Add mashed bananas and mix till well combined.

    5. Pour batter into prepared bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until cake test done.

    6. Cool 1 hour; remove cake from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
