    Easy Creme de Menthe Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 box white cake mix plus ingredients required
    • 1/2 C. creme de menthe
    • 1 C. chocolate fudge ice cream topping
    • 8 oz. refrigerated whipped topping


    Instructions


    1. Make cake according to directions on box, but replace 1/4 cup water with 1/4 cup creme de menthe.
    2. Bake in 9- by-13-inch pan according to directions on the box. Let cake cool.
    3. Combine fudge topping with whipped topping and 1/4 cup creme de menthe. Spread on cake. Refrigerate until ready to serve.



    Final Comments


    Serve with french onion soup; caesar salad; medallions of beef with peppercorns and mustard; garlic mashed potatoes; roasted carrots; greek new year sweet bread
