    Recipe Introduction


    The kahlua lends a great flavor to the pecan mixture. A great holiday pie.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 9 inch pie shell, unbaked
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 2 tablespoons flour
    • 3 eggs
    • 1/2 cup Kahlua
    • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
    • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
    • 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans


    Instructions


    1. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and flour until fluffy.
    2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    3. Stir in kahlua, corn syrup, milk and pecans.
    4. Mix well and pour into crust.
    5. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
    6. Reduce heat to 325° and bake for 40 minutes more, until center is firm.
