    Chocolate Mint Patties

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 3 T whipping cream
    • 1 (13 oz) container chocolate fudge frosting mix
    • 1 tsp peppermint extract


    Instructions


    1. Bring a couple inches of water to a simmer in the bottom of a double boiler. Combine butter and whipping cream in the top of double boiler and place over simmering water. Stir until melted.
    2. Add frosting and heat, stirring frequently, for 15 minutes, or until thick. Stir in peppermint extract and remove from heat.
    3. Working quickly, drop by tsp into small paper cups or onto waxed paper. Make a swirl design on top of each candy with spoon or fingertip. Cool completely.
