    Broccoli Baked Turkey

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 head broccoli
    • 2 tablespoons margarine
    • 3 tablespoons white flour
    • 1 can chicken broth, strained
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
    • 2 cups diced cooked turkey


    Instructions


    1. Trim stems and leaves off broccoli and separate flowerets. Steam flowerets until just tender. Set aside.
    2. In a medium saucepan, melt margarine. Remove from heat and stir flour into margarine to make a smooth paste.
    3. Return to low heat and blend in chicken broth stirring constantly until sauce is thick and smooth. Stir salt and mushrooms into sauce.
    4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
    5. Grease a shallow baking pan with margarine. Place broccoli in baking pan, cover with turkey and pour mushroom sauce over both. Bake, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes.
