    Best Brownies


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup butter, melted
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp baking powder
    • 3 T butter
    • 3 T unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 T honey
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 cup confectioners' sugar


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Melt 1/2 cup butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix well.
    3. Add in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well. Spread batter into one 8" x 8" square baking pan.
    4. Bake for 25-33 minutes. Do NOT overcook. These are better the next day.
    5. To make Frosting: Combine 3 T butter, 3 T cocoa, 1 T honey, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Frost brownies while they are still warm.
