Cream Cheese Biscotti

- 8 oz pkg of cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 T vanilla extract
- 1 tsp anise extract
- 4 eggs
- 3 1/4 cups flour
- 1 T salt
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Beat cream cheese, butter, sugar, and extracts in large bowl until well blended. Stir in eggs. Gradually add combined dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in almonds.
- Flour dough board and hands. Shape dough into three logs, 12" x 1 1/2", and flatten logs slightly. Place logs about 2" apart on a lightly greased and floured cookie sheet.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until light golden brown.
- Remove from oven and slice diagonally into 3/4" pieces. Place sliced side down on cookie sheet and bake for another 5 minutes until lightly brown. Flip slices and bake for 5 more minutes.
