    Cream Cheese Finger Cookies

    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
    • Dash salt
    • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
    • Powdered sugar


    Instructions


    1. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour, granulated sugar and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
    2. Stir in pecans (dough will be crumbly). Shape tablespoonfuls into 2-inch logs. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

    3. Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Carefully roll warm cookies in powdered sugar; cool on wire racks.
