    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/4 cups flour
    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
    • 1/4 cup maple syrup
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
    • 12 oz (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips


    Instructions


    1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
    2. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
    3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugars, maple syrup, and egg. Add the dry ingredients, then mix until blended. Stir in the nuts and chocolate chips.
    4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing well apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cookies are golden brown. Cool for a few minutes on the sheets, then remove cookies to a cooling rack.
