    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 lb unsalted butter, softened
    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
    • 2 cups flour
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1 cup pecan pieces


    Instructions


    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar. Slowly add flour, then salt. Fold in pecan pieces.
    3. Roll dough into a ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate 30 minutes. On a floured surface, roll dough out 1/4" thick. Cut into desired shapes. Transfer the cookies to an ungreased cookie sheet. Prick the cookies with a fork, and chill again 20 minutes.
    4. Bake 20 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.
