List of Ingredients



• 1 cup sugar
  
• 1 cup butter
  
• 2 eggs
  
• 1 T water
  
• 1 tsp vanilla
  
• dash of salt
  
• 1 tsp baking powder
  
• 4 cups flour
  






Instructions



1. Cream the sugar and butter. Add the eggs, alternately, beating after each addition. Add the water and vanilla.
   
2. Sift the dry ingredients together and mix into creamed mixture. Cover and chill 1 hour.
   
3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out the chilled dough to a thickness of slightly less than 1/4". Use a 2" biscuit cutter or a glass to make cookies. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
