    Fudgy Macadamia Nut Brownies


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 oz unsweetened chocolate
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 3/4 cup flour
    • 1/4 tsp baking powder
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1 1/4 cups macadamia nuts, toasted and chopped


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8" square pan.
    2. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt chocolate and butter together over very low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla. When sugar is dissolved, stir in flour, baking powdeer and salt just until thoroughly moistened. Fold in 1 cup of the nuts.
    3. Spread mixture in pan. Sprinkle top evenly with remaining 1/4 cup of nuts. Bake 20-25 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares with a sharp knife.
