    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
    • 2 tsp baking soda
    • 1 tsp ground cloves
    • 1 tsp ground ginger
    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup unsulfured molasses
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 3/4 cup water


    Instructions


    1. Cream sugar and butter together.
    2. Add 2 cups of flour alternately with pumpkin and molasses.
    3. Beat in eggs.
    4. Mix spices with remaining flour and alternately with water, starting with flour and ending with flour.
    5. Bake in 350 degree oven in 11" x 14" x 3" well greased baking pan for 35 minutes.
    6. Serve hot with whipped cream.
