    Oven-Fried Fish Fillets

    List of Ingredients


    • 2/3 cup fat-free sour cream, divided
    • 1 T Montreal steak seasoning
    • 4 halibut fish fillets (about 1 1/4 lbs)
    • 1 1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
    • 1 1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves
    • 1 T chopped fresh parsley
    • 2 T mayonnaise
    • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
    • 2 scallions, chopped (about 1/4 cup)


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
    2. In bowl, combine 1/3 cup sour cream and steak seasoning. Brush mixture on fillets.
    3. In bowl, combine next 3 ingredients. Coat fillets with bread crumb mixture.
    4. Bake on greased pan 15 minutes.
    5. In bowl, combine mayonnaise, 2 T lemon zest and 1/3 cup lemon juice, scallions and remaining sour cream. Serve sauce with fish.

    OVEN-FRIED FISH FILLETS 216 WAYS:
    Mix and match ingredients from the chart below to whip up flavorful fillets. Replace the halibut with a fish from column A, the Montreal seasoning with a seasoning from column B and the breadcrumbs with a finely crushed topping from column C.
