    Fresh Fruit Salad


    List of Ingredients


    • 7 cantaloupes
    • 3 honeydew melons
    • 1 large watermelon
    • 1 lb seedless grapes
    • 1 lb raspberries
    • 1 cup water
    • 4 T sugar
    • 2 T sliced mint
    • 2 T sliced basil


    Instructions


    1. In a small saucepan combine the water and sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and stir in the basil and mint. Allow to cool.
    2. Cut cantaloupes in half and remove the seeds. Use 12 halves of the melons for serving the fruit salad.
    3. Using a melon scooper, scoop out balls of honeydew, watermelon and the remaining cantaloupe.
    4. In a large bowl, combine all the fruits. Pour the cooled syrup over the fruit and toss to combine thoroughly.
    5. Fill the halved cantaloupe with the fruit salad and serve.
