    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb peaches, peeled, pitted, and cut into halves
    • 3/4 lb sugar
    • 1/3 cup water


    Instructions


    1. Place fruit and sugar in alternate layers in large pot. Add water. Cook over high heat, stirring, until mixture comes to boil. Boil rapidly, until syrup is somewhat thick.
    2. Pour into hot, sterilized jars. Seal and process in boiling water bath 15 minutes.
