    List of Ingredients


    • 2 lbs green beans, washed and broken into 2" pieces
    • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
    • 4 heads fresh dill or 4 tsp dill seed
    • 4 cloves garlic
    • 2 1/2 cups water
    • 2 1/2 cups white vinegar
    • 1/4 cup salt


    Instructions


    1. Wash, drain, and cut beans. Pack lengthwise into 4 1-pint jars with 1/2-inch head space. To each pint, add 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, 1 head fresh dill and 1 clove garlic.
    2. Combine water, vinegar, and salt in small saucepan. Bring to boil. Pour hot over beans, leaving 1/2-inch head space. Adjust lids.
    3. Process in boiling water bath 2 minutes. Let jars stand 2 weeks for flavors to blend.
