Beef & Mushroom Burger

- 4 Tbsp. (60mL) Mrs. Dash® Steak Grilling Blend™, divided
- 1 Tbsp. (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Tomato Basil Garlic Seasoning Blend1 Tbsp. (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Tomato Basil Garlic Seasoning Blend
- 1 1/2 lb (679g) extra lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, minced
- 3 Tbsp. (45mL) fresh parsley
- 6 Portobello mushrooms
- 1/4 cup (60mL) light mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. (15mL) Dijon mustard
- 6 hamburger buns, split
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, minced onion and fresh, chopped parsley in a bowl. Shape into 6 thick burgers.
- Mix mayonnaise, Mrs. Dash® Tomato Basil Garlic and Dijon mustard in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Preheat grill to medium.
- Remove stems from mushrooms and brush with a little water. Sprinkle mushrooms with 1 Tbsp. (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Steak Grilling Blend.
- Place remaining Mrs. Dash® Steak Grilling Blend™ on a plate and pat burgers into it on both sides.
- Grill burgers and mushrooms turning once or twice until the mushrooms are brown and tender and the burgers reach 160°F (71°C). Grill buns until toasted.
- Set a burger on a bun, top with a mushroom and spoon some sauce on top. Cover with top of bun and serve immediately.
