    List of Ingredients

    • 2 lbs hamburger
    • salt/pepper to taste
    • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    • 1 envelope brown gravy
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 small onion (sliced thin - rings)
    • Water
    • Egg Noodles

    Instructions

    1. Crumble hamburger meat into large bowl, add salt and pepper and dry onion soup mix. Mix well and shape into patties.
    2. Empty dry brown gravy mix into a shallow dish, put cup of flour into another dish. Put patty (one at a time)into the dish with brown gravy and cover both sides then do same in the flour. (you might have to
put a little bit of water onto your patties - just a little) Pat them down to get gravy and flour to stick. Do this for all hamburger patties. You should have a little bit of the brown gravy mix left in the bowl - add a spoon of the flour to the gravy mix and set aside.
    3. Fry each patty in a deep frying pan w/ lid. Turn over to cook other side, and add the thinly sliced onion - continue to cook until patties are done.
Remove patties and onions and drain on paper towel - pour out grease, but leave any stuff stuck on bottom of pan!
    4. Take the bowl with the brown gravy mix and flour and
add about 1 cup of cold water. Stir well to remove any big lumps. Place patties and onions back in pan, and add water/gravy mixture. Cover and let
simmer until gravy thickens. (About 7-12 minutes) Serve over cooked egg noodles.
